Hi Debbie!
I'm very new here,so don't have much in the way of advice, but as far as the
heat cycle after spaying, I have had experience with that with one of my cats.
After she was spayed she would go through heat still....she never spotted, but
did spray and acted all giddy and howled. It drove me nuts! lol. It only
happened 2-3 times in about a 1 yr. period after her spaying and all of a sudden
it stopped and never happened again. She has been normal for over 3 yrs.
now....thank God! lol.
About food......have you ever thought of raw feeding your dogs? I started about
2 weeks ago and I've been seeing terrific results in my critters. They are more
content and energenic. Just a thought.
My new vet recommends raw feeding or Flint River food. I tried the FR food and
they wouldn't touch it though.
I hope someone else here can help you more. I'm sure they are much more
knowledgable than me :-)
