Hi group,
I am new to the group. I have a question for all of you but first I
will introduce myself.
My name is Miranda. I am 22 years old and I am originally from West
Central Wisconsin. Currently I reside in St. Paul, MN. I am
attending Argosy University studying veterinary technology. Before
Argosy, I attended the U of MN as a pre-veterinary/animal
science/Bachelor of science student. Because of medical reasons I
was forced to leave the U and choose a different career path.
However, while I was at the U I was able to attend a two day seminar
performed by Linda Tellington-Jones. I have always had an interest
in animals and nature I just was not sure which course in veterinary
medicine I should choose. This two day seminar solidified my choice
of holistic/natural medicine. The first day of the seminar was a
basic introduction to natural medicine and massage therapy
approaches. The second day was a more in depth look at massage
techniques and equine massage.
Well those two days influenced me greatly. My current career goal is
to finish school at Argosy University and obtain my certification.
Then after I finish paying off my student loans, I would like to
become more educated in holistic vet. med. in either acupuncture or
massage.
In wisconsin, my parents own a dog (thumper she's 13!) who is a black
lab/collie, and my cat alyssa who is a 3 year old dsh callico. In
minnesota with me I have four gerbils, two hermit crabs and six fish.
Well thats me in a nutshell. My question is does anyone have any
information about holistic pocket pet care?
If you have any questions for me just ask!
thanks
