Because fruits and veggies clean the digestive tract it is very common for
pets to have mucousy stools temporarily. Sometimes it takes a few weeks or
months for this cleansing process, so you should not be alarmed with the 6
mucousy stools. However, if these stools turn into diarrhea or you
consistently see the condition worsen, it may be a parasitic infestation or
something else going on. Or it could be that Lexy is allergic to one of
the fruits or veggies you are giving.
