Thanks so much for the posts concerning Laddie and Felix. I am going to stop the
Pred entirely, especially after your informative posts. Any suggestions on what
I can give Laddie for allergies? It was definately the flax oil that was
causing him to pant and pace. I tried him with just the honey balm today and he
was fine. Can it take a few weeks for an allergy to show up? He's been on flax
oil for a couple of weeks and just now has a reaction to it. I am hoping the
Ester-C and honey balm will be all he needs to help him feel better.

As for my cat Felix, I will have to get him tested when I can afford it. He
seems to be doing fine other than the shedding. He had been eating Purina
O.N.E. for a while, but I switched him to Drs. Foster and Smith Weight
Management for cats (he's also overweight). Would it be ok to give him flax
oil?
