Hi everyone,

I appreciated all the good advice given over the past few days, so I would like
to toss out some more problems and see what you all have to say! :)

My first issue is with my dog, Laddie. He's been having problems with his back,
legs, and hips. The vet put him on Prednisolone and that's caused him to gain
lots of weight, but it kind of helps with his joint problems and his allergies.
I have only been giving him one about twice a week. I've bought some Honey Balm
for pets (you can see it at http://www.pethoney.com and give that to him, along
with Ester-C tablets and cold pressed flax oil. He seems to be doing a whole
lot better. My question is, do you think I am overdoing it on all this stuff?
I've noticed the past few times I've given Laddie the pet honey/flax oil mix
that right afterwards he starts pacing and panting. I've been afraid to give it
to him since. He doesn't seem sick, but he's been acting funny. I have only
been giving him 1 teaspoon a day of the mix. Any ideas?

Secondly, I have my cat, Felix. Felix has been shedding something terrible
since about January. I understand the regular shedding cycle, but this is
insane. He has just turned 5 years old, so I don't know if his age may have
anything to do with it. I have upgraded his food and tried to give him
supplements, but nothing is working. He literally drops fur everywhere he goes.
I wake up in the mornings with his fur up my nose (gross but true!). Any
thoughts on what I can do (besides shave him...and he's a DSH!)?

Thanks for all your help.

Sandy
