Alexandra,
Oh, that is what we are here for!! :)
First of all, don't ever let a vet take your pet anywhere without you. Just
let them know that it is not your policy to let your dog out of your sight. I
know people who actually will watch their pet's surgeries!
Secondly, if the vet is requiring you to come back to finish the exam, that
is his problem. He can EAT the second office visit fee! But, it sounds like
he is pompous and not to your liking, so I am just saying this in case an
emergency arises before you establish another veterinarian for yourself.
Okay, ahem. now that I've regained some of my composure (vets can make me
absolutely crazy).....let's tackle some other issues.
If you give me your location, I will try to recommend some vets for you to
try out. You can do this privately if you do not want this information going
out onto the list. Or you can go to altvetmed.com and there should be a list
there as well.
Secondly, ear infections is a sign of systemic yeast. you should go to the
purelypets.com website, and look up the article on yeast/allergies. If your
pet fits the profile, we would be glad to help you and are here to answer
questions.
Take care,
Cat Donnelly
