Medication interacts with other medications and drugs that slow the brain's processes, such as alcohol, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, and narcotics.
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
Symptoms of a medication overdose may include shallow breathing, vision problems, fast heartbeat, confusion, hallucinations (seeing things), muscle stiffness, feeling light-headed, fainting, or seizure (convulsions).
Before using this medication, tell your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs, or if you have epilepsy or other seizure disorder, liver disease kidney disease.
If you have any of these conditions, you may not be able to use medication, or you may need a dosage adjustment or special tests during treatment.
Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. If you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor immediately difficulty breathing fever weakness burning in the eyes.
