Her spouse’s income would count aggenst her on SSI not SSD if they don’t have enough into social security they will make you get SSI tip is the more you have to pay out like rent utilities medical … the more they take out and the more likely you are to get money

Your spouse's income should not be a part of the decision as to whether you received SSD or not.  The issue is your disability not your household income.  Additionally, SSD is not even close to a welfare allowance or anything like this, it is for a disability which keeps you from working period, regardless of whether you want to or not.  As such your household income should not be taken into account.

Have any of you been denied SSD because your spouse makes too much money? I've only had PTC since June but I'm thinking of the long term ramifications because of how it's effecting me daily. I had a LP shunt placed, but am still having low pressure headaches everyday. I have permanent vision loss in my left eye but not enough to be consider disabaling.

This disease has been horrible for me and I have had surgery 3 times for a shunt. They have tried twice to put a VP shunt in my head with no success. I have a LP shunt now but I still suffer from chronic migraine headaches. I have been off from work since September of last year. Some days I am barely able to get out of the bed.

Right, but she asked specifically about SSD. Obviosuly, they take into account living expenses and necessaries even with SSI. ________________________________ ...
