My daughter has been in the hospital 6 times since March and is
missing a LOT of work, plus had to have the shunt removed because of an
infection and can’t get it replaced for six months- she’ll need regular spinal
taps and will miss a lot more work- trying to get her on STD or even SSI.

Have any of you been denied SSD because your spouse makes too
much money? I've only had PTC since June but I'm thinking of the long term
ramifications because of how it's effecting me daily. I had a LP shunt placed,
but am still having low pressure headaches everyday. I have permanent vision
loss in my left eye but not enough to be consider disabaling.

Cerebri and are receiving Social Security Disability? This disease has been
horrible for me and I have had surgery 3 times for a shunt. They have tried
twice to put a VP shunt in my head with no success. I have a LP shunt now but I
still suffer from chronic migraine headaches. I have been off from work since
September of last year. Some days I am barely able to get out of the bed.
