Re: [ptc] about questions

I took Diamox from week 12 on. My daughter is 14 months old now and there have been no complications for her.  The pregnancy was great as was the natural delivery.  Diamox is a class C drug which means that there isnt a lot of research - the Intercranial Hypertension Registry just completed a study and results should be out soon evaluating the effects of diamox on pregnancy.

I had no symptoms throughout my pregnancy and still have not had any to date.  My neurologist and ob/gyn were in contact with each other and neither of them had reservations about diamox.

I was 26 when I was diagnosed and 27 when I had my daughter.

Subject: [ptc] about questions

I saw that there was a question posted on yahoo answers about pregnancy and PTC. I was wondering if anyone knew of a medical website I could visit to research that. Can you take your Diamox while you are pregnant?

There have been many pregnancy and Diamox questions and answers posted on this board...but the bottom line, no researchers have ever gathered the facts. ...
