There have been many pregnancy and Diamox questions and answers posted on this board...but the bottom line, no researchers have ever gathered the facts. Diamox is listed as a danger during the first trimester because of the lab experience with rats.
The Intracranial Hypertension Registry has a current project gathering data about Pregnancy and Diamox--It is in the last stages of datagathering. Over one hundred women are participating. This study will answer your questions since it involves collecting both IH medical records, pregnancy medical records, and pediatric records. This is huge. So...if you have IH and have been pregnant since your diagnosis please contact the Registry...email: ihreg@...

Subject: [ptc] about questions
I saw that there was a question posted on yahoo answers about pregnancy and PTC. I was wondering if anyone knew of a medical website I could visit to research that. Can you take your Diamox while you are pregnant?
