Hi Larry,
I'm in the Bay Area in N. California, starting to take
remedies for psoriasis from an acupuncturist and
master herbalist for whom I work. I am seeing some
improvement, but I am still really new at this
regimen.
There are support groups through the National
Psoriasis Foundation throughout the USA. I have not
made it to one because it is too far away.
I have had psoriasis since I was 20 and I am 55 now. I
was able to totally cure it with a very strict diet of
green foods (wheatgrass juice, spinach carrot juice)
twice in my life. Now, I just don't want to torture
myself with that kind of food.
I am 55 and single for a really long time. Partly
because of the psoriasis and partly because I have
gotten really overweight in the last 10 years. But I
am exercising regularly now. That also seems to help
my skin.
There is a good book called HEALING PSORIASIS by Dr.
John Pagano. That has helped people clear up this
condition.
Hope this helps.
Best,
Emily
