First and foremost : Fuller- my condolences on the loss of your nephew. And on a happier note, happy birthday. I can only hope to make it to a healthy 76 !!

 

Good news on 2 fronts here. First, LLUMC called a few weeks ago and moved my consultation date from 8/25 to 8/4. Then on the following week they called me again and moved me up to 7/14. Two weeks away sure sounds better than 8 weeks. I guess that's an advantage of leving in the area. The people at LLUMC asked me to get another PSA test done since the last one was February. I got tested Friday and the results came back today. PSA was 4.3. It was 4.6 in January and 4.8 in February, so I was relieved that it hadn't gone up more (and actually came down !!) I think Fuller's advice about the healthier diet and loss of almost 30 lbs. helped out. I'll be at LLUMC in 2 weeks and and keeping everyone posted.

 

As a postscript, my GP asked me "why I just don't have it removed and get it over with" "you're a young man and you want that cancer out of you" . Thanks but no thanks.
