Description

There is a viable and technologically advanced treatment for cancer that is not well known, and is not widely recommended by the medical community. This treatment, proton beam therapy, is truly state of the art radiation based on the elegant physics of the proton.

This group exists to provide information regarding proton beam therapy for prostate cancer (or other cancers), and to help anyone learn more about the treatment and the disease. Members are encouraged to post their problems and disease characteristics, and ask any questions. Please join our group to learn more about proton therapy and prostate cancer.

PLEASE PROVIDE A FIRST NAME OR "HANDLE," AGE, PSA, GLEASON SCORE, AND ANY TESTS RUN (like bone scan etc,) IF YOU HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED. Your location will also be helpful.
After you join, you will have posting privileges and full access to the site. It may take a few hours before approval; the site is not monitored 24/7. Please be patient.

Spam is prohibited; please post only questions and comments related to proton therapy and/or prostate cancer or other cancers.
Please do not quote specific people without their permission. If quoting written material, please provide the source. If possible, when you refer to an article or other material generally, it will be most helpful to cite that source also.

My husband Steve completed the trial at LLUMC May 26, at the time Dr Grover said they were targeting 300 and Steve was the 4th or 5th in the trial.  He is

Not positive...thought I read somewhere that they were targeting 150 and I think maybe 40 or 50 are complete. There were 10-11 guys at my exit interview and 3
