Description

When you apply to this Group, PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR FIRST NAME OR "HANDLE," AGE, PSA, GLEASON SCORE, AND ANY TESTS RUN (like bone scan etc,), AND LOCATION - if you have not been diagnosed, that's OK.
After approval, this information will be your first message to the group. You will then have posting privileges and full access to the site. It may take a few hours before approval, so please be patient.

There is a viable and technologically advanced treatment for cancer that is not well known, and is not widely recommended by the medical community. This treatment, proton beam therapy, is truly state of the art radiation based on the elegant physics of the proton.

This group exists to provide information regarding proton beam therapy for prostate cancer (or other cancers), and to help anyone learn more about the treatment and the disease. Members should post their problems and disease characteristics, and ask any questions. Please join our group to learn more about proton therapy and prostate cancer.

Spam is prohibited; please post only questions and comments related to proton therapy and/or prostate cancer or other cancers.
Please do not quote specific people without their permission. If quoting written material, please provide the source. If possible, when you refer to an article or other material generally, it will be most helpful to cite that source also.

The information, comments, and/or advice in postings on this forum represent each author’s personal experiences and opinions only. Any decisions for treatment should be made in conjunction with qualified medical professionals, if possible by a consult at one of the proton centers.
