Dan,
Enlargement of the Prostate is considered normal as you grow old,
but it is also an indication that something is wrong with it
especially if its associated with pain and alleviated PSA count.
The prostate massage is applied to drain foreign matters that cause
the enlargement or inflammation of the prostate. Read the
book "Surviving Prostate Cancer without Surgery"
(www.SurvigingProstateCancerWithoutSurgery.org) and you will find
more information about the prostate.
