An emerging health issue is the poor health of men, including lack
of access to insurance and health care.
These issue will be explored in depth at the first National
Conference on Men's Health being held in Arlington, Virginia on May
20-22, 2004.
Speakers include Dr. David Satcher (former Surgeon General), ABC's
Dr. Tim Johnson, APHA's Executive Director Dr. Georges Benjamin, Dr.
Jean Bonhomme (founder, National Black Men's Health Network), Dr.
Wanda Jones (Office of Women's Health), and others.
Over 70 papers have been accepted representing over 100 presenters.
Professional accreditations will be offered for practitioners who
attend approved tracks.
