Yes, what a fantastic week this past week. The team walked 178.4
Miles-(2nd highest week of miles walked in the past 11 weeks.) I am
definitely on my way home. I got some terrific news. One of our team
members adopted a beautiful black labrador dog named Lulu from the
shelter in San Martin. She has adjusted to the cats and is already
getting lots of walks-go Lulu.
I am traveling east and just passed over Grand Canyon and onto the
Table Rock Lake Area. Looks like our team members are walking in a
large nearby church parking lot. Wow-lots of churches down there.
Maybe that is why they call it the Bible Belt?
Heading to the North now and just passing over Jesse James place in
St Joseph Missouri-that's quite a story. I hope to be home by next
monday the 27th of October. My neighbor Al capone and his thugs(I
mean staff) have been watching my place and tending to my gardens. I
heard there is going to be a big Halloween Pumpkin Carving and
Decorating Contest and I want to make sure I get me entry in on time.
We now only have 1 week left of the walking challenge and I still
need your help to get all the way home. So keep those feet a walking
anyhow and anywhere you can,
