I was able to stay in camp one more day this past week and got the
final numbers today. WOW!!!! a total of 147.1 Miles walked for the
week. I noticed another feather has been added to my hiking boots and
I am over half- way up this mountain with a total of 546.6 walked
over the past 4 weeks. A few more of these record weeks and I know I
will have wings!!! also, noticed that the air is a little thinner up
here but the scenery way down below is beautiful. Thank You for all
those steps taken which has made my climb easy. Camp is all set up so-
Keep those feet awalking anyway-anywhere you can. I will watching for
those numbers next Monday.

Article from Quick And Simple-July-2008
"Feel Draggy Before Walks? Try Nibbling a light 200 calorie snack.
Foods with slow-digesting lean protein and faster-digesting carbs
boost energy level, fueling you up before your walk.
Some bites to stoke your stamina:
Half an apple and one stick of low-fat string cheese
or a handful of raw almonds and baby carrots
or, Half a banana with one teaspoon of peanut butter
or, two ounces of trail Mix."
Set Youself a goal of steps or miles for each day and get up,get
out,and get it done.
The 1st,2nd, 3rd Place Medal ribbons have arrived and I will mention
more next week about prizes & pledges. Good luck this next week-oh we
are already there-its Wednesday aready!
Keep those feet moving, Dianne
