Hello to all,

Well, the collection is just about finished for our latest fund
raiser, and what a HUGE success it was. Through our efforts, we were
able to raise $750 to buy food for our local shelter. I have contacted
Brigid at the San Martin Animal Shelter, and she was delighted to
accept the donations. According to her, they were in dire need of
Canned food (They use Innovo EVO) and Litter (Yesterday's News) for
their Cat room. ( They currently have 81 Cats/kittens available for
adoption.) Due to the fund raiser we were able to buy enough food and
litter to supply their cat efforts for an entire month!!!!!!!!!

This Saturday we will be delivering over 1100 pounds of food and
litter to the shelter, and if you have some spare time, I could really
use your help. Basically, I have a friend with a truck and we just
need to pick up the food/litter and then deliver it to the shelter and
unload wherever Brigid needs it. I am thinking that we will pick up
the food and litter around Noon, and then deliver it around 1:00pm,
but I need to check with the Shelter to be sure.

Thanks to everyone who donated, and to those who lost weight in
support of this effort. I will try and get some photos on Saturday and
post them here to the group.
