I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed our chat tonight.
Its been a long time since we have chatted, I really forgot how good
it makes me feel.
Thank you all for taking the time to drop in and chat, we had quite a
roomful tonight.
I hope you all make it to chat on Wednesday, so we can all feel good
about getting togther again.
Lets have a topic to discuss, as that is always interesting and
educational.
We could discuss how each of us handles our arthritis, ( for those of
us who have it ) or what do we do when we go through periods of
severe pain.
I could certainly use some help or hints on how to equip my
wheelchair so I am not always running aroung trying to juggle
something in my hands and keep my chair going at the same time. I
honestly thought about getting a set of saddlebags and trying to find
a way to attach them to my chair. Now is this weird or what? Any
suggestions floating around out there?
This chair I have is really too big for me, and I have a hard time
controlling it in stores. My Jet 3 was such a tiny thing I had no
problems handling that, But this new chair is a whole new ball game
to me.
I was reading some of the warning labels on this chair, and it says
it is recommended only for people 250 pounds or more. (They call it a
recommended minimum weight) Well I am far from being a Tiny Tim, but
I am a long ways from 250 pounda. I think this is probably why the
front wheels come right off the ground when I get in a hurry to go
somewhere. I swear sometimes this thing goes so far back it scares me.
(Enough already Jack) I do tend to ramble on sometimes. Sorry about
that.
Bring your ideas, or suggestions to chat with you and let us see how
confused we can get the " Oldtimer " Tom. He really is such a wussy
if you know him at all....lol.
Thanks again my friends for the chuckles and thoughts tonight, I am
looking forward to Wednesday night already.
Sending you all hugs ( yeah even you Old Man )
Nite and God Bless
Jack
