I took the test, which is similar to the MMPI but not as annoying,
and not nearly as long. The big problem with tests of this sort is
that "multiple choice" leaves no room for the diversity of situations
which are a part of human life, and the complexity of humans
themselves. I find myself saying, "ugh... I don't see my answer among
the possibilities..." and then picking something that doesn't truly
fit. For instance, the question "I can control my temper" assumes
that I have a temper, and "I feel able to face the bad things I've
done" assumes that I feel I've done "bad things"... no matter which
answer I choose.
