Hi there,
I have been requested to pass on this survey to our group for
participation and review. It is entirely voluntary and in the end
may help all survivors of trama.
Please let me know what you think, especially if you feel this type
of survey/questionairre does not belong in our group. I initially
felt inclined to decline, however if the bigger picture is to help
survivors, including partners as secondary trauma victims, I would
like your input.
Best Regards and a Welcome spring after a long harsh winter for North
America.
Simon.

Dear List Owner,
Would you consider passing this request along to members of the
Positive
Partners of Survivors group?
I am a graduate student in the midst of devising a new personality
scale
based on the Internal Family Systems model of psychotherapy
(developed by Dr
Richard Schwartz in the early 1980s). The initial reliability and
validity
of the scale were excellent, and now Iım doing the next stage of the
research. This involves doing a factor analysis in order to do item
reduction and get a short, statistically powerful, scale, which will
be
suitable for clinical use.
This scale will be particularly helpful in the treatment of survivors
of
trauma and abuse.
The questionnaire takes about 15 minutes, and all answers are
completely
anonymous. Thereıs even an incentive; anyone who participates is
eligible
to enter a raffle; Iım giving away $500 in prizes.
The website is: <http://www.selfleadership.org/>. Just click on the
little
window that says, ³Participate in Research.² Anyone over 18 is
welcome to
participate.
Thank you and blessings!
