Dear Joachim,
Please accept my sincere apologies, for suggesting you are a bastard, worthy of being banned.
(smile)
Apparently, someone saying they are "you" is posting hate-type, anti-American messages on our Polio Survivors list. This is the person that my post was directed at...not you, my friend.
The messages are in "extreeeeemly" bad taste, particularly when you consider the current state of affairs, in our world today. If you don't already have these 2 hate-type messages, I would be happy to forward them to you, then you can see for yourself why some of us were offended. You may even want to contact someone on Yahoo or other Internet resources, for further legal action and to prevent his use of your name (and e-mail address) in the future.
Best to you and all,
Steve & Yofi

Dear fellow Survivors,
Not all of us on this list are American and some of us... may not agree with the kind of American arrogance that gives it's citizens ultimatums like, "love it or leave it."
And some of us.... may actually be Americans, who left America for just those very reasons.
Think about it...
Polio (The Old Dragon) and it's late effects, transcend all political, social and economic borders, which makes these posts by Joachine Martillo, particularly offensive to many of us, myself included.
The list owner should moderate him, or better yet...Ban the bastard!
The posting did not come from me. As you can see, email
from me has a quite distinct signature.
