I want to thank everyone who reply to my question.... I did go to my polio Dr. yesterday and he was afraid that I might have blood clots in my leg.....so he did a ultra sound right away (but they call it another name) everything show OK and no blood clots.....he is concerned about how my bad leg is swollen up and he also that my good leg was swollen also (which I couldn't tell).....so he told me to keep it elevated as much as I can.....and wash the leg with epson salts....and if it gets worse or starts to get warm get to my family Dr. right away....and he said that it most likely turned into Cellulitis......but if I take care of it....it should be just fine.....and when I was in their he's been wanting me to schedule and appointment to have a sleep study done.....which I finally agree to do but it will be the end of July or first part of Aug....that's when my medicad insurance kicks in... But thanks to all of you for your concerns..... I really appreciate it...

Jane,
I suffer from exactly the opposite!...Instead of my polio leg begin
swollen, I have atrophy of some of the muscles...and plantar pain in the
heal area of the same leg/foot...Doesn't seem to be affected by the heat or
cold...It's pretty much all the time...Sorry I couldn't be of more help...
