Nicodrops Announces Chainwide Distribution Agreement with Walgreen Co.
Nicodrops to Provide Its Drug-Free, All-Herbal (Dietary Ingredients) Lozenge Smoking Alternative Product to More Than 4,700 Walgreens Stores.(i)
Nicodrops, Inc., developer of the drug-free, non-nicotine smoking alternative, herbal dietary supplement, LOZENGE(i), today announced the company has a chain wide distribution agreement with Walgreen Co., the nation's largest drugstore chain with $37.5 billion in sales during fiscal 2004. The agreement with Walgreen Co. is the company's largest distribution agreement yet - reaching more than 4,700 Walgreens locations. Nicodrops has commenced shipping products to Walgreens distribution centers.

Walgreens plans to open about 450 new stores during fiscal 2005 and is on track to operate 7,000 stores in 2010.
Walgreen Co. is the nation's largest drugstore chain with fiscal 2004 sales of $37.5 billion. The company operates 4,738 stores in 45 states and Puerto Rico. Walgreens also provides additional services to pharmacy patients and prescription drug plans through Walgreens Health Initiatives (a pharmacy benefits manager), Walgreens Mail Service, Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy and Walgreens Home Care.
