Description

Manipulation, adjustive and mobilisation therapies and massage are the oldest form of therapy, but it seems unfortunate that too many podiatrists neglect to utilise such techniques when treating lower limb, foot and ankle problems.

We podiatrists, as orthopaedic / musculoskeletal specialists in this area of body mechanics, should realise that massage, mobilisation, manipulative and adjustive therapies are a real asset to podiatry and our patients and this forum is here to help encourage a revival in their use as a routine therapeutic intervention.

Practitioners of chiropractic, orthopractic, osteopathy and physiotherapy interested in foot & lower limb massage, mobilisations, manipulation and adjustments are welcome to contribute.

If you practice musculo-skeletal podiatry, physiotherapy or orthopaedic and sports medicine you may also wish to subscribe to our general Podiatric Orthopaedics Discussion Forum (PODFORUM), http://www.podiatric-orthopaedics.org.uk or,
