New yias greetings to you all.

If you think you have put on an extra 10 kilos (from eating all the cakes and
food) u can
weigh your self and try and shed those extras.

2006 was a productive year for us. we discussed many things and I am happy that
not only
were just talking about them but actually taking some action. Noteable was the
petition.
Thanks to Alex for giving us a voice.

Its also satisfying to note that the health department is going to take some
action to
rectify some chronic problems regarding Drs housing. Things which you are all
familiar
with and have experienced and we have discussed at length on this forum.

Looking forward in 2007, lets build on from what we have started. Discussing
issues
affecting the health profession and PNG as a whole and come with solutions and
action
plans which we can do to help solve using means at our disposal, particularly
the internet.

I am also aware that some of our members in Aussie will be returning to PNG. If
you can
please get connected so we can continue to keep in touch. Also if you return to
POM I urge
you to get together & strengthen our network and build our professional
relationships, not
only in those who are in the medical field but other professions which will help
us improve
the quality of health care service.
