On another matter altogether, if anyone wishes to read it, I have a new article just out from the edited collection, Making Sense of AIDS: culture, power, and sexuality in Melanesia, called "Fear and Loathing in Papua New Guinea: sexual health in a nation under siege." It is a short social history of the national response to HIV and AIDS, and tells a very personal story about how a young woman near death from AIDS was treated by her community, from the pumpkin patch into which she was thrown after being burned to the hospital bed where she died. Contact me off-line if you wish to obtain a copy. There are about six chapters devoted to Papua New Guinea in this fine new collection, including two about SHP, one about EHP, WNB, MBP and so on.
Cheers.

Thanks Poyap & Lawrence for the positive comments!
Red`Kona` is very filthy & dusty as usual! Don't like it very much. To me it is a little hostile. Just moved from there to Seigu.
Poyap, I think the PNG Drs forum should remain. It has helped us alot & yahoo is a huge internationally known site. So this may help to bring people (volunteers mainly) to help with our struggle. It has already happened; people like Ian. I think there is nothing wrong with continuing the yahoo site. So we wil continue & build-up on this forum. The Goroka one, leave it for local discussions.
Thanks!
