Hi,
Wow, very healthy size baby! and yes...OUCH! My first was 8lb 4oz and I
thought she was big! You know, I'm not really sure why the doctor said we
would just let labor happen at 34 weeks. He didn't say and I didn't argue. But
I
have argued my due date all along. I believe I am 2 weeks further than they
say. My last period was April 1st. I calculate my due date around Jan 6 or 7.
How they arrive at Jan 22 I don't know. Doesn't seem to matter either way
though. Looks like this young lady will make her appearance when SHE sees
fit...lol.

Hi,
Glad to hear you and baby are well....Especially after such a scare. I'm
happy to hear there are no changes to the abruption as well...labour can be a
frightening thing when it happens way to far from your due date.
I'm sure you can't wait to tell little Tori of how much of an adventure your
pregnancy was. I tell my 11 year old daughter about my pregnancy with her
all the time...she loves hearing how much trouble she caused me before she was
born.
I can totally relate to you wanting to go into labour a little earlier than
your due date. You're anxious to me your little one. I was the same way with
my 5 week old son. I wanted to make it to term, yet I wanted to come earlier
than my expected due date. Lucky for me he did....He was 9 lbs 2 oz and
22 3/4 inches at birth, and he was two weeks early. All I can say is
"Ouch!!!!!!!22 3
BTW, Is there any reason why your dr said he wouldn't try to stop the labour
again if it happens in two weeks time? I just figured they would try to keep
you pregnant as close to your due date as possible. Did he say it's in fear
of the abruption getting larger?
Well, I'm just happy to hear that you both are doing well and that you are
back home. Just take it easy and keep your feet up. Get as much rest as
possible. You'll have lots of running around to do once Tori gets here.
Talk to you soon
Sarah
