Hi,
Glad to hear you and baby are well....Especially after such a scare. I'm
happy to hear there are no changes to the abruption as well...labour can be a
frightening thing when it happens way to far from your due date.
I'm sure you can't wait to tell little Tori of how much of an adventure your
pregnancy was. I tell my 11 year old daughter about my pregnancy with her all
the time...she loves hearing how much trouble she caused me before she was born.
I can totally relate to you wanting to go into labour a little earlier than
your due date. You're anxious to me your little one. I was the same way with
my 5 week old son. I wanted to make it to term, yet I wanted to come earlier
than my expected due date. Lucky for me he did....He was 9 lbs 2 oz and
22 3/4 inches at birth, and he was two weeks early. All I can say is
"Ouch!!!!!!!!!!"
BTW, Is there any reason why your dr said he wouldn't try to stop the labour
again if it happens in two weeks time? I just figured they would try to keep
you pregnant as close to your due date as possible. Did he say it's in fear of
the abruption getting larger?
Well, I'm just happy to hear that you both are doing well and that you are
back home. Just take it easy and keep your feet up. Get as much rest as
possible. You'll have lots of running around to do once Tori gets here.
Talk to you soon

Hi,
Well... I came home Monday, on bedrest of course. The ultra sound on
Monday showed absolutely no difference in the size of the abruption. No better
but no worse. I haven't had any bleeding but did have a bit of a scare today.
My contractions were coming 20 minutes apart so off to the local hospital we
went! Yep, in labor I was. My water didn't break thankfully. They gave me
meds to stop the contractions and sent me back home. Yippeee! I actually feel
much better on these meds! They gave me a script for a 2 week supply. At that
time I will be 34 weeks and my doctors says if I go into labor again at that
time... we're having a baby. He said we won't try to stop it again. Baby Tori
is doing well :) Boy will we have some stories for her! Is it selfish to hope
I go into labor in 2 weeks? Of course the first priority is a healthy baby,
I feel a little guilty for hoping that today... it's just been so hard.
Thanks for thinking of us! I really do appreciate your thoughts and prayers :)
