Hi all,
I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. My name is Gigi. I
am currently in the hospital on bedrest. Im just about 30 weeks
pregnant and had a severe bleeding episode last week. A small placenta
abruption Im told. It's been a hell of a week... I was medivaced to
another hospital that could take care of a 28 week baby because they
thought I was looking at an emergency c section but the bleeding has
stopped and my baby is doing well, thank god! I'm still laying here
scared to death because I'm told there is a collection of blood that
could be more of an abruption waiting to happen and that basically I am
a time bomb. I had lost a great deal of blood in the process so even
though my baby is doing well, I'm still scared to death. I found this
group by chance while searching for info on my condition. I had never
heard of it before. This is my third child and my other 2 pregnancies
were completely uneventful... just the usual complaints. So thats
basically my story. I look forward to chatting with you.
