It has been a long time since I have been on here! Michelle, Larnie-
- Congrats on the new babies, Dawn how are all your kids, Yvonne
thanks for thinking of me, Sarah, how have you been. Larnie, have
you talked to Kym lately? How is she doing? I had my abruption at
28 weeks, out of the blue, no symptoms or problems. It was in 2001.
It was my 3rd pregnancy and my first 2 were normal to the end. I
did go on to have a successful pregnancy after my abruption, but was
closely monitored by my dr. I switched dr's after my PA and my new
one was awesome. Starting at 20 weeks he had me in the office every
week, at 24 weeks it was 2 a week with non stress tests everytime
and then did a scheduled c-section at 36 weeks. I Dont know if the
low birth rate is all that true or not because my Evan weighed 5lbs
6ozs at 28 weeks and my pregnancy after that, Emma she only weighed
4 lbs 10 ozs at 36 weeks.
But I am sorry to hear of all of you who are having to go through
this or have gone through this. It is such a tragic and scary
thing. Especially going through a pregnancy after a PA has
happened. You constantly worry and don't get to enjoy it at all.
Good luck to you all.
I don't get on here much any more, find it hard to have time with
family and work and life in general. But I hope you all know I
think about everyone on this board all the time and wonder how you
are doing.
Take care,
Love,
Jenny
