Congratulations on your Miracle Baby! This truly is a miracle.
My name is Sarah. I had an abruption at 24 weeks with my son. I found out a
lot of my information on abruption after I lost him. I did a lot of research on
the internet. I have always heard that if clots are detected you should be on
extreme bedrest to help with the blood circulation to the baby. You can cause
more problems if you are constantly on the move. I was also told that any
feelings of nausea or back pains should be taken really seriously. I had both,
but I didn't know the seriousness until after I lost Keegan. If your dr is
telling you that you don't need bedrest and a clot has been detected, I think
you should talk to another dr...this has to be taken seriously. Especially
because you are not very far in your pregnancy. An abruption is dangerous at
any gestation but the babies survival rate increases when they are closer to
their due date.
