Again I want to say thank you to everyone who has been sending such
encouraging and supportive words.

I wanted to know if anyone has had a cerclage (stitch in the cervix)
due to an incompetent cervix and later had a placenta abruption. I
was curious to know if the cerclage can cause placental abruptions.
I recently heard that the pulling of the cervix to insert the
cerclage may possibly cause abruptions because this also pulls at
the uterus. I'm not sure how accurate this information is. But, I
wanted to know if anyone has heard something similar.

Thanks

Sarah
