Hi Sara
I'm glad you found our group. I'm sorry about your PA -- it is so
scary. I had my PA at 34 weeks and had an emergency c-section right
then. I had no pain at all and only a small amount of bleeding and
clots. PA can differ so much from person to person.
I have known many women who were diagnosed with an abruption early
on, and sometimes it is able to heal. I hope this is true in your
case. Are you on any type of bedrest? I would be sure to ask your
doctor any questions you have and if you think something is wrong --
be sure to call the office.
Keep us posted on how you're doing
love,
Michelle B.

was great until almost 12 weeks. I started cramping and bleeding and
went to the ER. I was told there is a tear in my placenta and would
probably miscarry. I am currenlty 14 weeks and 5 days and have been
dx with placental abruption. At my last u/s it showed a blood clot
behind the placenta, which is making is detach. Also, it showed my
cervix funneling. I bleed here and there, but the worst thing I have
is a pressure on my rectum. My dr does not know what it is. I am
afraid because I have always thought this pressure is a symptom of
preterm labor. I start to feel the pressure in the afternoon after I
am on my feet for a while. Has this happened to anybody else?? What
was the outcome?
