Kristen ~ I'm sure it is so hard waiting to take the test. I hope
you get the answer you want.
I was scheduled for a repeat c-section 8 days before my actual due
date. My doctor said he wouldn't do the c-section more than a week
before the due date (unless there were medical reasons to due it
early). My water broke 3 days before my scheduled c-section -- so
they had to hurry and do the surgery. My water broke, I went to the
hospital and was only dilated to a 1 -- but about an hour later,
they were prepping me for the c-section. So she ended up being born
11 days before her due date. Everything went so well -- I couldn't
believe it. What a difference the epidural makes compared to being
under general anesthesia. I didn't have nearly as much pain and I
wasn't nauseated after surgery like with my first. I thought it
would be wierd being awake for the surgery (since with the first I
was completely under). But it was so amazing to see my baby right
as they "pulled" her out.
I hope you have a nice memorial for your angel son River on
Thursday. I'll be thinking of you.
love,
Michelle B.
