Hello Kenzie,
My name is Sarah, I joined this group in 2004 after I had an abruption with my
baby in 2004.
I am sorry to hear about your abruption, but I am thankful to hear that the
baby is doing ok. I know how difficult it is. Does the dr have you on strict
bedrest? How have they been instructing you to lie down? When I had my
abruption in 2004, they kept me on my side with a triangular foam pillow proping
me on my side. Do you have a history of abruption? I myself had no history of
abruption, but I had to get a cervical suture inserted with all three
pregnancies I've had and was put on strict bedrest. So I have a history of
difficult pregnancies.
Let me know how you're doing

Hello all. I have a placental abruption at 16 wks. I've been having
one bleeding episode a day. It is enough to soak a pad. I have been
to the ER twice thinking it was a m/c but thus far baby is fine. I
have weekly doctors appts. and regular U/S each time. Baby is still
okay. The doctor can't explain why the bleeding is still occuring.
He also can't tell from U/S the degree of the abruption. Right now it
is a wait and see game because it is way to early to deliver a viable
baby. Each day is more stressful. I wish that I would either m/c or
the problem will go away.
