Hi, is it Jo or Joyce?
I'm in the U.S., down in Alabama. Mine didn't flare up until I had
total knee replacement surgery less than 3 months ago. My sciatic
nerve flared up the day before surgery but subsided while I was in
the hospital. A week after being discharged, I noticed the pain got
worse and worse, felt both shooting and stabbing pains.
No one seemed to realize just how much pain I was in -- until I
literally screamed after climbing off the chiropractor's table. He
told me what he thought it was, but nothing he did ever made a dent
in the pain.
I'll write more later -- it's 5pm here and I need to go pick up my
kids!

both walk without problems - in fact walking relieves my pain. I
have had fusion at L5/S1 level nearly 3 years ago and whilst I did
have some unilateral sacroiliac pain and couldn't sit before the op,
I feel that I was diagnosed incorrectly and have finished up worse
than before. After fusion my metalwork was taken out after a year
(the surgeon thought it was an irritation) it is now chronic and
after injections, physio, chiropractic, have seen a surgeon for
surgical release in the UK. Where are you?

communicate in group, so much the better.
