Jo, I have to catch up on the past couple months of postings but I
did want to tell you I'll give you info on the many cushions I have,
including a $500 Roho wheelchair cushion that worked for 9 mos. for
me before I finally had trouble with that too. There are many
cushions on the market and what works for one may not work for all.
I have several kinds, including several I had custom-made at an
upholstery place, in different sizes to fit different chairs. It has
thermoplastic foam in the middle, egg crate type foam on the top,
and a big fat piece of foam on the bottom. I'll give more info as
soon as I catch up on the posts this week.
Also...I was on neurontin myself, and it never did anything for my
sitting problem. I was on 4500 mg/day as I recall, tho I ended up on
3600 for most of the time. I doubt that a pill is going to help our
type of nerve problem.
