Hi Maureen. I have decided to have surgery because
nothing else has worked to relieve the pain I
experience whenever I sit. I had a blood clot in my
right leg in 97 and always thought the pain was due to
that but the doctors tell me it is not. I am not
totally convinced. I cannot drive for more than half
an hour and getting on a plane is out of the question.
The burning in my leg gets so bad sometimes after
sitting that I have to lay on my stomach until the
pain subsides. I cannot visit my family in the U.K as
I cannot get on plane and fly from Canada where I
live. Surgery is a dicey alternative but I am prepared
to take the chance. James.
