Mine was a CT guided shot which hurt a lot even though I had been
given some kind of anesthesia. I limped out of the hospital room
after being thoroughly embarassed from being bare assed in front of
doctors and nurses. My hip developed bursitis from the experience and
whatever pain relief that came only lasted a few weeks. For me it was
awful. The best remedy for me has been time and not sitting down for
long periods. A heating pad is nice also.
I have have the syndrome and it has been 4 years since I fell down the
stairs. It gets worse in cold weather and on long car rides.
I don't know if others have had permanent relief. It may depend on
what has caused the ps in the first place.
Wish you the best.
