It has been awhile since my last post, so I thought I would give an update on my
experience with ART. I have had somewhere between 6 & 8 sessions and I am
seeing improvement. In addition to the sessions, my doctor recommended that I
stand up every 20 minutes and do a few piriformis stretches several times a day.
The standing up every 20 minutes seems to have helped the most. After a week of
doing this, I could tell a difference and so could my doctor. I have one more
scheduled session and the doctor will determine if I need more.
I am by no means cured. If I am in a situation where I can't get up regularly,
then I still have quite a bit of pain. However, even temporary relief from this
dreadful condition is wonderful.
