Interesting article. I'm not sure I understand something though. If you have
pain at the piriformis but not down the back of the leg, you only have an
inflamed piriformis muscle and not piriformis syndrome? That doesn't make sense
to me. It seems like if the piriformis is inflamed it is the cause of the pain.
If the pain was from something like a bulging disc why would the piriformis be
inflamed?
On another note, I've had 3 ART sessions so far with no improvement. I haven't
completely given up on it yet, but my optimism is waning. I have 2 more
sessions scheduled over the next two weeks. I'll post again if there are any
changes. Also, if any of you fellow sufferers want to give ART a try and have
any questions about what it is like, I'll be happy to answer them.
