Thanks for your response. And for the information that there has been more success in recent cases. I have only read thru the first fifty some. And I do admit it was pretty discouraging in the beginning. I hope to get back to reading more older posts.
I did check out the website you sent and by the probing my chiro does I think that is along the same kind of treatment that you are talking about.
I am improving alot. Last nite I didn't have the pain when I went to bed. I felt it in my hip and back of the leg in the middle of the night and this morning but after I got up it eased off. So I am really improving daily. And I do feel blessed. I have only been to by Chiro Dr G last week MTW and have an appointment today Monday.

Hi sue and welcome to the group. I hope you find some useful information here. I admire ambition to read all the previous posts. During the early years, there were almost no successful cases. Fortunately, things have progressed since then.
If you really have PS, your chiro's treatment is unlikely to help. Better to spend the money on ART (Active Release Technique), which is also done by chiros who have with special training. See
www.activerelease. com/providerSear ch.asp
If possible, see a certified practione r who is also an instructor in the method. Otherwise, choose someone who has the completed the most courses.
PS can be hard to diagnose. Patients often spend a lot of time having tests to exclude other causes as the source of the pain. So if you have limited health insurance, soft tissue work like ART or Myofascial release can be a more direct route to pain relief than the merry go round of testing and injections.
But we recently had a member who's PT thought he had PS. So he did the PT stuff without benefit. Than he had an MRI & found out it was a spinal problem & he got great benefit from a cortisone injection.
