Re: [Piriformis syndrome] New member looking for help

Hi,

Twisting or any other kind of misalignment of pelvis seems to trigger tight
nerve muscle pains... It could be related to a fall or other unsymetrical limbs,
foot and leg mechanics etc. I have given many references before, check out the
archives for details.

There is a self help manual written by Alexander Barrie www.alexalign.com and a
tool called backchamp with the slogan align your pelvis and get straight back to
health www.backchamp.com you can order from the net.

You can also do trigger point massage yourself check out trigger point therapy
book on the net. It is all in the net

Clair Davies

The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook;
Your Self-Treatment Guide for Pain Relief

The illustration shows self-treatment of lower back pain with massage of
the gluteus medius and maximus muscles using a tennis ball or lacrosse ball
against a wall:

(See The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook for more details on how to
self-treat all the many muscles whose trigger points can cause upper, middle,
and lower back pain.)

After I realised I have a twist I have been doing the right exercises and my
sciatica is not tight anymore I am not even sure if I needed all those
injections and medicine etc. Order the book of Alexander Barrie and read it...
This is to everyone act before it gets really complicated.

Good Luck Nilgun

Hi everyone,

I have just recently discovered that I have PS. Actually i believe I
do after 3 year's worth of doctors and tests that couldn't find
anything wrong and always defaulted to "it must be siatica".

I've done some research on PS and I'm convinced it's what I have. Now,
although I live in New York City with our abundance of doctors and
hospitals I cannot find a doctor that even believes PS is a valid
diagnosis never mind treat me.

Anyone have anyone I can contact to find a doctor, hopefully in the
NYC area, but after 15 years of debilitating pain I'd pretty much
travel anywhere for help.

Also, I know you all must have heard this a thousand time, but anyone
have any suggestion at all on some self treatment (exersise, whatever)
until I find a doctor?

Thanks so much,

Al
