I will keep you posted. I know this surgeon the last time I saw him said they
he would not think of touching this tumor unless it was absolutely necessary.
Otherwise it could effect my left leg and cause paryalsis. Nice, huh??? No way
would I want any kind of opiate. I would rather live with the pain. The last
time it was checked this tumor was the size of a grapefruit. And it was not
causing any discomfort then. This MRI I just had should tell if it has grown at
all, or if something else going on.

This is not the kind of thing Piriformis Syndrome
treatment would work for. The pain will unlikely stop
as long as there is pressure on the nerve. If doctors
won't do surgery & the pain continues, they'll
probably send you to a Pain Clinic where they won't
treat the cause of the pain. (And actually, they will
be ineffective at treating the pain also, unless they
are willing to give you opiods.)

I'm no doctor. I'm guessing the pain you have is from the neurofibroma pressing on the sciatic nerve. What did the lastest MRI show? This is not the kind of...
