I would like to inform everybody about my new discovery, too: Termal Spine
Massage Beds.
As I mentioned before my sciatica is not tight anymore but I have developed
spine irregulaties and related pains during my looong term(3-4 years) piriformis
syndrome. Especially after a very painful botox injection period, which made me
very weak on the left side. I am making a lot of effort to correct my spine now,
because I am scared it will all come back. Feldenkrais is my favorite exercise
method, you can buy the book and try yourself, you can start with minimal
effort.
I have a spinebed now (made in Korea.) It is really effective in correcting all
kind of spine and pelvic misalignments. Like having a chiropractor at home.
There are many brands mine is Nuga Best. It is like I am doing yoga lying down;
it is a bit painful because I am apparently misaligned, but gets easier as you
get corrected and more flexible due to it.
Some hospitals and doctors have it as well, where you can use with a small fee
rather than buying it. I recommend everbody to try these spinebeds, main reason
for any sciatica pain is pelvic misalignment. It is a twist rather than a drop
of pelvis which causes all the agony because it twists all your body knees,
shoulder etc... I want to recommend everybody again to get the manuel of
Alexander Barrie and apply; take to your doctor as well. It explains very
clearly what happens when you are twisted and how to untwist yourself. First
time I read the statement that short piriformis causes your pelvic to twist. As
James's experience opening your legs work if you're not scarred or your nerve
and muscle is not conected in an unusual way, probably backchamp will work for
you,too James. The problem is the longer you live with tight sciatica more
likely you will have scars and fibrosis etc and physical therapy may not be
enough. In my experience botox was very painful for a long time, but still less
invasive than surgery. I tried it because surgery was more scary.
Best Wishes, Nilgun

Subject: [Piriformis syndrome] Thigh pressure
Hello All,
I made a very interesting discovery a few weeks ago.
To all that dont know my past history I was convinced
I had piriformis syndrome from about 2000 on. I had
surgery in 2004 when vein clusters that were wrapped
around the sciatic nerve in my upper thigh were
discovered and removed. The clusters were only found
after the surgeon started the surgery for piriformis
release. There was a little improvement after the
surgery. I could sit for longer periods but the
crippling sciatic pain would come eventually.
A few weeks ago I bought a motorcycle.
Guess what, I have no pain when riding the bike.
It must be that my thigh is not compressed on the bike
therefore no pain.
As you can imagine I have been using the bike a lot !
It is wonderful to drive somewhere and not be in pain
when I get there. Just thought you might like to know.
Try sitting without compressing the thigh somehow and
see if it makes any difference to the pain level.
James.
