Re: [Piriformis syndrome] experiences to this point.

Hi,
Have you had any MRI's of the back or pelvis ?
How about nerve tests ?
I had every test imaginable which were all negative.
The majority of my problem were "vein clusters"
wrapped around the sciatic nerve. I was convinced it
was a piriformis related problem, the syptoms were
identical. I had severe sciatic pain when sitting.
I had surgery and the pain was relieved somewhat but I
am not done yet. Doctors and surgeons will either tell
you to live with it or recommend surgery.
Be very careful to find the right surgeon if you
decide to go ahead. A life in constant pain is very
hard to live with.
James.

I know you are frustrated. But be grateful, the MD's didn't do surgery on you. You would have ended up with more problems & pain. It frequently happens. I...
