This is my experience up to now;
Approximately 2 yrs. ago I began having severe pain in my left
buttock and left leg. I soon lost the ability to climb steps with by
left foot. I first saw an orthopedic surgeon who passed me on to a
neurosurgeon; after many tests for the spine, the neurosurgeon said
he could not help me and laid the problem to irregularities in the
spine and I was not a candidate for surgery.
They reccommended a pain clinic; I followed their advice and received
several epidurals which at best relieved the pain until I reached
the car in the parking lot.
I gave up on this and went to see a chiropractor who told me it was
piriformis syndrome. My pelvis was out of balance.
After 3 months of treatment (hammering on my hip with his elbow).
That did help me some, but the pain is still there and severe.
Thank you for welcoming me to the group and if you have any further
suggestions, I would appreciate hearing from you.
