Hi, How was the cyst diagnosed ?
I have a cyst in my knee that I believe is causing me
sciatic nerve problems. I am having a hard time
getting anyone to do any surgery, "most people have
knee cysts" I am told.
I have been struggling with nerve pain for 6 years
now. I had surgery in 2004 to remove "vein clusters"
wrapped around the sciatic nerve near the top of the
thigh. It was only partially successful but relieved
the pain somewhat.
I am getting arthroscopic knee surgery in about 6
months. The knee surgeon is one of the best in this
area but cannot give me much hope that the cyst is the
cause of the problem. I have nothing to lose.
